"Honda" Ed - Safety & Ed coordinator

   One of the main components of ABATE is Education.  Every year thousands of new drivers take to the roads with us.  A.B.A.T.E.'s Safety & Education program allows us to go into the area schools and talk to these new drivers BEFORE they hit the streets (or us).

  We inform them about safely sharing the road with motorcycles & let them know some of our concerns as riders.  The time spent with them now could literally save your life.

  Each year South Suburban's Safety & Ed program trains thousands of drivers on motorcycle awareness.  This is no easy task for any one person.  If you would be interested in assisting in a class or two, even if you can only spend a couple hours, it would be greatly appreciated (and is quite a rewarding experience).

  We'd like to give special thanks to "Honda" Ed for his dedication to this program.  He has a unique way with the kids and is able to keep them engaged throughout the class.  In 2006 Ed brought our message to nearly 2000 students!!
